Animal welfare

The welfare of animals is everyones responsibility.

In Finland the animal welfare inspections are the responsibility of the animal welfare authorities; the veterinarians, the police and the municipal health inspectors.
If you suspect or see an animal mistreated, contact the authorities immediately! You can also contact SEY's voluntary animal welfare inspectors.

Everyone can do their part for animal welfare:

Take good care of your own animals.

Buy things that have been produced or manufactured in animal friendly way.

Report animal abuse.

Donate to animal welfare work

Join an animal welfare association and volunteer to work there.

Be an animal welfare friendly tourist.
